The art of painting came to me as a surprise. Luckily, approximately fifteen years ago a dear friend invited me to a Chinese Painting Class at the London Public Library and it was then that I discovered the beauty that can be created with paper and colour.
Since then I have taken numerous workshops and classes in Chinese Art, watercolour, pen and ink and acrylics. I have been well guided by teachers such as Sheila Griffith Harris, Johnnene Maddison and American artist Suzanne Morgan Wilkins.

of all that is around us and am fascinated by light and colour. I first started
painting with watercolours and will always love their softness and clarity. I

acrylics and love its versatility and friendliness with other media. My
paintings there reflect a more tropical mood and my subjects vary from
